Mid-Week Gratitudes…Belated

Deliver Me, O God!  Psalm 3:2-4
2 Many are saying of my soul, “There is no deliverance for him in God.” Selah. 3 But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. 4 I was crying to the LORD with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.…New American Standard Bible

Oh my, it’s been one of “those weeks” again…thus, I was unable to get my mid-week gratitudes posted on time.  So to begin a bit late:  I’m thankful for GRACE!  It’s always remarkable to me that God doesn’t fire terse reminder memos to my In-Box when I’m behind in whatever I’ve told Him I’d do.  He’s got all the time in the world, is never in a hurry, and tells me to “slow down, stop stressing”.  I’m working on it…

I’m beyond grateful for a phone visit with my ‘honorary’ nephew today.  Bless his heart, he interviewed for a new job with a better company, and I’m praying diligently that it’s the one God has ordained for him.  It would ease his work schedule and travel—and we’d have more contact, which would benefit me.  So if my readers have room on their prayer lists, please add Chris’s job to it, and I’ll be ever thankful to each one of you.

The temperature has stayed mild, for which I’m very thankful; and I’ve been trying salad recipes…just in case August kicks up a fiery fuss.  I’ll be posting 2 easy/yummy recipes sometime soon 🙂

And I’m enjoying more lovely roses—kind of a “tarnished” pink-red color that is quite unique, with a heady fragrance.

But mostly, and always, I’m so glad and grateful that the Lord is a shield around me, my glory, and the Lifter of my head...when I’m feeling down.  His faithfulness is something to sing or shout about—it is wonderful to be loved by the Father.

Happy Weekend to everyone—I hope you have pleasant plans.  God bless you all, Abundantly  Jael, 2017

    • I can understand that–remember though, what I wrote previously, that according to what He’s told me, He prefers arguing to cold silences. He wants us to get it all out so He can bring us through whatever it is…
